Kellie Steele, Social Media
Kellie is our Project Manager and Social Media Specialist. She is a former teacher and small business owner who enjoys helping businesses build their online presence through strategic social media campaigns. Her favorite aspect of the job is meeting with clients and crafting creative and effective social media campaigns that drive engagement and results. Kellie is married to Leroy Steele, a teacher and coach at Orange Beach High School. They have four boys: Jackson, a junior at Auburn University majoring in Math; John Miller, an electrical lineman student at Bishop State; Matthew, a junior at OBHS; and Lee, an 8th grader at OBHS. Kellie enjoys reading, cooking, and traveling, as well as cheering on the Makos!
Anna Kate Hughey, Intern
Anna Kate is the youngest member of our team. At 17 years old, she is interning as our Marketing & Administrative Assistant while also enrolled as a Senior at Gulf Shores High School. She will attend Mississippi State University in the fall, majoring in Business! Anna Kate plans on working for a marketing agency after her college graduation, so she is using this internship as an opportunity to prepare for the future! She is originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee, but loves living the beach life.
Megan Melvin, Graphic Design
Megan is our Digital Design Specialist with a passion for bringing creativity to life through graphic design and content creation. Having called the Gulf Coast home for over two decades, its unique charm influences her perspective, serving as a constant inspiration for her work. Beyond the office, you'll often find Megan at the beach, soaking in a sunset, or enjoying the local music scene. As a proud mom of two, she finds joy in these simple moments, adding a special touch to both her professional and personal journey. She looks forward to contributing this unique blend of experience and creativity to the exciting projects ahead with the Red Door Marketing team.
Brook Jones, Founder & CEO
Brook is the mastermind behind the Red Door brand. She is a seasoned business leader and experienced marketing professional with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications from Mississippi State University. With over 20 years of real estate experience, she has worked for industry leaders such as Wyndham Vacation Rentals, Kaiser Realty, and Coldwell Banker. In addition, Brook has worked in tourism, finance, healthcare, non-profit, entrepreneurship, among others. Brook excels in simplifying complex company divisions, products, and services, creating streamlined operational and marketing plans for overall company success. Brook guides businesses in vital elements—operations, communication, customer service, and marketing—fostering cohesive, customer-centric strategies. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and relaxing on the beach with a good book.
